The Scoutmaster took a brief respite from the camp to bring the church van back (the reason I have to go up on friday). He says Russell is having a great time and is all smiles. That's much better than moping around homesick.

This is my pear tree. It spent its first two or three years as one of the scraggly ones, but now it's doing pretty good. It has fruit, but the pears have yet to survive the summer here, so I have no idea how they taste.
